Because most banking is becoming electronic, is important for consumers to follow certain safety precautions. It is vital for individuals to guard their identity; be aware of how you do business online, and whom you do business with. Approximately 15 million U.S residents have their identities stolen every year.  That’s $3,500 dollars lost per person.

Check your credit accounts at least once a day, people. Be cautious.
